How I spent my weekend!

Today was an exciting day.A friend of mine gave her birthday treat at Yana's in Gold Adlabs.We left for Kalyani Nagar on an auto rickshaw at around 1:30pm.The journey to Adlabs was devoid of any significant incident apart from the fact that two of my friends went somewhere else and we had to search for them in the scorching heat of the sun that too on foot....it wasn't very comfortable..trust me.Anyways thanks to the "MOBILE" revolution we located them shortly.We then went to Yana's.There we ordered Paneer Chilly for starter & Vegetable Satellite with Barbeque Sauce & Masala Paneer Sashlik with Shezwan Sauce for main course.The ambience of the restaurant was good but theservice there was hopelessly slow for they took about an hour before they served the order.The sizzlers were good...I specially liked the Vegetable Satellite sizzler.Anyways after food we went to get tickets for the movie "RACE",as one of my friends wanted to watch themovie and we too agreed to accompany her.But Fate did not want it that way coz only one ticket was available & there were four of us.But we,the four muskateers were not going to be daunted by Fate that easily...so we went to Inox,another multiplex in the vicinity to try our luck.But.....alas it was Sunday,that too the opening weekend for the movie that boasts of a pretty interesting starcast,that too in Pune...the holy trinity...so it quite predictably we did not get the tickets.We then went to McDonald's to have the last course of our lunch i.e.,the dessert.We had soft serve with chocolate sauce.Now,the crowd out there was not a happening crowd but when four young girls get together then obviously some sparks would be flying..so as usual quite a few pair of eyes were watching us.Now we were also not to be left behind..so me & another friend of mine had zeroed on one guy who seemed to be a bit better than the rest of the crowd.We were taking turns to "tapofy" him... which is our language for saying that we were eying him.He also was doing the same thing...Now we were gossiping about him when suddenly my eyes fell on the lady sitting beside him...must be his girlfriend,I thought....but oh my God,what's that?She's wearing a mangalsutra...........OOPS He's married.......!What a sad turn of events!"We'd better leave",I thought.So,we left for SGS Mall in Moledina Road as one of my friends wanted to have a Ti Amo ice-cream which is available only there.On reaching that place we found a place to sit so that we could comfortably eye every handsome guy & gossip about him.Well,after some futile dogwatching we came to the conclusion that either God had indeed stooped making goodlooking guys or they had gone to the opposite part of globe while we were stuck in there.It was really getting late & we had to reach our hostel within the in time so we decided to leave.Then suddenly my friend gasped "Oh my God!",we were quite surprised at her when she motioned her eyes towards a table that was till then empty.....Following her line of sight we immediately realised what made gasp...A really cute guy had occupied the till-then-empty-table.All four of us liked him.. a real rarity though I didn't like him that much..still he was a much better sight than the existing crowd of unworthy suitors(I'm telling suitors because though most of the guys were gaping at us,two of them had actually come over to our table & talk to us & another one followed us wherever we went).After much gushing over him we decided to leave as it was really getting late.....we were on the escalator when we noticed that he & his friends were actually looking at us.....oh-my-gawd....they had actually seen us watching them.......So the situation was such that all of us were actually looking (& giggling...offcourse..girls have to giggle at such situations) at each other.Then.....then our escalator reached the top floor & we had to move forward........So that was the end of all of it...A bit disappointing but unbelievably enjoyable..
So, here we come to the end of an all girls' day out.Well by the way, we got a rick shaw & reached hostel in time. It was a great day..we had great food.....great gossip....few interesting incidents.......& immense fun....After all that's what is needed for a good weekend.....Have a happy week ahead.....
